You are welcome to return any goods purchased within 7 days of receiving the item.
How to log a return
Please either email the Gourmet Grocer & Café (admin@gourmetgrocer.co.za) or call us on or phone 011 442-6965.We will send you a return form to complete and send a courier quote to have the product/s collected. Once you have paid the cost of having the item couriered back to us and we have received the payment, we will refund you.
An incorrect product is received that you did not order
Please either email the Gourmet Grocer & Café (admin@gourmetgrocer.co.za) or call us on or phone 011 442-6965 with your order number and details and a picture of the product that you have received and we will assist in sorting this out by confirming that the item received was incorrect and sending the correct item out to you.
Returns In general
Products are sold with a 7-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not completely happy with a product that you received then you can contact us within 7 days of receipt with the reason for dissatisfaction. Unless the product doesn’t fit, we will evaluate such requests on a case-by-case basis and process the return at our discretion, should the request be reasonable. If the product is in its original sealed state we will issue a return number and book our courier to collect your product. Shipping costs for the return will be for your account. Unfortunately on-sale items, foodstuffs, perishables and items for daily consumption, gift vouchers cannot be returned/refunded for any reason.
Upon receipt of your return, we will inspect the item(s) and if it/they meet the requirements stated in the previous paragraph then we will issue a gift voucher to the value of the item(s). If you prefer an exchange (i.e. different size) then we will send you the replacement item at no shipping cost to you. We can only offer an exchange with no shipping cost once, should the exchanged product still not be suitable for whatever reason, then any future returns or exchange shipping costs (both directions) would be for your account.
If you have opened and used the product and are not satisfied for whatever reason, we will pass your feedback onto the supplier of the product. The supplier’s remedy is then up to their own discretion and the Gourmet grocer & Cafe itself will not be held responsible for issuing a credit. The same returns process mentioned above applies.
