My favourite breakfast spot in Johannesburg. The food is always excellent - I have a weird relationship with eggs and this is the only place where I can get an egg breakfast that really sits well in the belly. They also make the best almond croissant in the city, too. Streaks ahead of the Argentinian and Fournos! Trust me, I've tested.

Absolute hidden jewel in Birdhaven. Interesting menu and delicious burgers and drinks. Best of all, they cater for dogs and my rottie LOVES their grilled livers even if he has to get a double serving. The service is excellent and Sven is helpful, friendly and efficient. Definitely worth a visit
